Phew, it’s been a few busy weeks for us in the Cloud Provider team. Great Worldwide Sales Kickoff and lots of great discussions around vCloud Director.
I am pleased to state that I will presenting at the VMware EMPOWER Conference alongside my esteemed colleague Luis Ayuso.
Our topic is around everyone’s favorite metering appliance – vCloud Usage Meter!
Our session title is “Optimizing vCloud Usage Meter for VMware Cloud Provider Environments” – our goal is to provide a significant amount of insight into UM for our partners and providers and common items we see in the field.
Between Luis and I, we will have several topics:
- Architecture of Usage Meter
- Deployment approach
- Common Support Issues
- Billing Best Practices
- Roadmap and what to expect
We’d love to get any feedback as we are finalizing our content if there’s something you’d like us to talk about. This will be a 90 minute session and geared towards the VM admin that manages the Usage Meter appliance and the procurement/contract individual that handles VCPP billing.
